Festive Flea Finds

So if you are as disorganised for Christmas as I am this year, you will also have struggled to find any spare moments for blogging. I did just want to update my blog this morning though, so thought I would share with you a few of my purchases from a recent flea market excursion.
I really enjoyed myself this time, as I was able to just concentrate on buying materials for my handmade goods, now that I have made the decision to focus more on this side of my business. (See post below)
Purchases included pretty Victorian greetings cards for gift sets.

Vintage brooches are my 'must-buy'.

These two ladies I bought for myself. I shall give them some new arms and pretty dresses and they can go and live out their days in my dolls house.

Exquisite lace and quilt bundles from Sue.

A delicious assortment of colourful buttons.

And two beautifully hand painted signs by a very talented stall holder.

I shall leave you with some delightfully nostalgic images from Christmases past, with some of the Victorian and Edwardian postcards that also came home with me...

Hope you enjoy the final few days as we draw ever closer to the festive season,

  2. Hi Niki

Lovely to see you on Sunday. Thanks as always for your purchases. Love all those violets cards, and all your other goodies. I struggled to find anything this time - mind you, I didn't have long away from my stand! At least I managed to come home with more money than I spent this time!!!

ps I think you have made the right decision re the shop...focus on one thing...streamlining leads to less stress and concentrating on making that one thing even better
