At last a break in what has been a rather long winter, and the sun came out...
I was able to have my shop's door open all day on Saturday, for the first time in a few months...what a difference it made...I was busy with visitors and was able to wave goodbye to a few items of furniture to new homes, which is always good...
It left the central island in the shop a little depleted for the rest of the day, but I've already bought some new pieces to work on, so it won't be long before its looking full again. (Hopefully by Tuesday)
I have a small glazed dresser which I think will have a French style make-over...and I have a genuine Lloyd Loom blanket box, which I shall give a 'potting shed chic' look to! More of that another time.

with a vintage rose/paisley lining.
Another brooch pillow...
And to continue the French flavour, I made two of these cushions with a fragment of rare C19th French quilt. (The reverse is a coordinating French fabric, with tie fastening)
