Thank you to everyone who visited my website yesterday and made a purchase.
Due to the heavy snowfalls overnight, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to the Post Office with your parcels today.
Despite us living on a main 'A' road, the gritters last night have made virtually no impact.
Those who have ventured out are having to be pushed up the hill by local people....Seeing as my nearest Post Office is three miles in that direction, down the hill, I don't think I'll risk it. We already have a car abandoned right outside our house, with others parked overnight in the lay-by next to the post box (just visible in the photo above.)
So I shall spend today wrapping and packing all of the parcels ready for dispatch on Monday (hopefully!)
Have a wonderful day and keep warm at home!
Which is what my chickens intend to do it seems...I couldn't even coax them out this morning with biscuits!

Gosh you had a lot more snow than we had! I used to have to get in the car everytime I had to post something but now we have moved and have two post offices within walking distance.
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side, your garden looks beautiful
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! That looks so exciting to me but it probably isn't as exciting for you to be stuck indoors. Your garden furniture does indeed look a little magical!

The snow sure is beautiful though! Enjoy being snowed in today. xo, suzy
ReplyDeleteI think you'd need your arctic exploration gear to go out in that! I'm so glad it's clearer here but the snow is coming down again.

It is beautiful to look at, but I would not want that much snow here. Stay warm, and have a great weekend.

Dear Niki, Isn't the snow wonderful? We walked along the cycle track between MSN and Radstock and it was like walking in Finland! That is the furthest I've been since doing a shop for supplies in MSN high street on Monday! I've tagged you with an award over on my blog, so do pop by to see. Happy days to you - do you think we'll be able to venture forth next week?! Denise
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Nicki this is beautiful.....
ReplyDeleteHugs Lynn xx
Oh poor chickies. Our one and only still ventured out every day but stayed the whole day on the kitchen window ledge, pecking on the window, asking for scraps and cuddles!
ReplyDeleteI spent all of last week indoors apart from one trip to Asda and 2 school runs! I had to get out today as I was going a bit stir crazy but I have done so many little jobs around the house that the enforced confinement was a good thing!
