Oh, the hills and the snow and the sunset are just BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoyed that snow! All of the pictures you took of it are so pretty!
I'm glad someone got a photo of the gorgeous sky last evening. I was so cross yesterday morning when I realised my camera was sitting here on my desk. I felt sure there would be some wonderful pictures waiting to be taken on my journey to and from DH. True enough ... the small flood on the A303 had returned and the hedges on both sides of the road for at least 50 yards were totally covered in icicles in the morning (just like Narnia). On the way home at my favourite high point on the same road there were swathes of snow-covered hills as far as the eye could see, with a backdrop of a rich orange sky with an even brighter orange sun just above the horizon.
I knew I should have turned back to pick up my camera!
It certainly has been a photographer's dream with all this 'weather' that has been around. There have been some spectacular skies of late ..from heavy snow laden grey to pink dawn skies over a snowy landscape.. This morning was very pink.. which does not bode well for tonight! Hope you are getting out and about with your camera today.
what a beautiful sky, the weather really has been a photographers dream lately, the snow has just started to fall heavily again here. I suppose it will all be white again in the morning. Stay cosy Jan
