A Rainbow of Dolls

I'm still having a few problems with my camera at the moment, so I thought I'd share some photos from my archives. I've gathered together a rainbow of my handmade dolls (these are all sold) - I like to make each one unique by using antique/vintage fabrics, lace and trims.
I've made another 9 dolls of various types over the last couple of weeks, to take with me to the fair on Sunday, so will try to show those when/if I can get my camera working again.

Cream

White

Brown

Pink

Violet

Indigo

Blue

Green

Yellow

Orange (well, peach, I don't really 'do' orange!;-))

and Red.

  2. Wow! How can you ever part with your creations? I would be tempted to keep them all ... hence why you run a business selling your goodies and I don't!

  4. LOVE LOVE LOVE all of your dolls!! So beautiful! I've been wanting to give doll making a try for the longest time and I finally gave it a try after getting some of the books you suggested to me about a year or more ago (The sew a circle of friends book and a few others)I'm not quite as good as you but I'm getting a little better then I was at first. I made some little Shamrock dolls for the relatives for St Patrick's day, They loved them! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful creations!

  8. Truly gorgeous ~ I hope that you might have a couple left for The Vintage Bazaar, as I won't be able to get to the V&H sadly...
Hope you have a great weekend!

  10. Oh, don't sell your dolls without a portrait being made! Borrow a camera, if you have to. Not just for us to see them - but to have a record of what your doll looked like...so important.
I love them all... they have great personalities - each different, too. You are so talented!!!!
