Whilst out Christmas shopping the other day, I grabbed a copy of Mollie Makes magazine on my way home...Laden with several bags of shopping, I was unable to flick through it before I bought it, but I thought it was going to be just my cup of tea...
I have to be honest and say that it wasn't...When I sat down in the evening to enjoy it, I turned the pages one-by-one rather quickly and found nothing that really inspired me, even if I were to substitute antique fabrics and materials for mostly the modern ones featured in the articles and ideas...
Its quite an expensive magazine (comes with a free calendar for 2012), and knowing that there are Mollie Makes fans out there, I would like to offer it to the first person to request it. I will post it off to you after receiving your address details. Either leave a comment here on my blog, or email me directly via my blog's profile, and I will get back to you.
UPDATE: My copy of Mollie Makes has now found a new home on the other side of the world! Thank you for your interest, Niki x

Yesterday I had to take the stock that didn't sell at the V&H Fair, back to my shop. I sold the painted ladder, as seen in my previous post, first thing, so I created another display outside.
I bought this little twiggy tree last Sunday. I placed it in an old weathered terracotta pot and dressed the top with moss pulled from out of our lawn!

A few other new items found there way onto the shelves, including these handmade felt tilt hats - So cute!
To finish, I'd just like to thank Susy for the post she added to her blog this week, all about my little shop - Thank you again Susy, it was very kind of you!

Thanks for dropping-in...
Hope you're having a great week.
You certainly have the "awwwww" factor going on at your shop. Love it all and would love to drop by but you are so very far away. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteYour shop is looking beautiful :) shame I am so far away.
ReplyDeleteBee happy x
Have a delicious day!
Your felt hats are simply delightful!
ReplyDeleteHi Niki, everything looks gorgeous as usual, I have fallen in love with the little velvet frame and postcard, I wondered is it still for sale? Would it be possible to buy it from you?, I could pop over next week and pick it up...hope you don't mind me asking :-)
ReplyDeleteI just love your shop window, and it looks just as festive this year as it did last year. I purchased the Jester Doll from you last Christmas, and he'll be set up by my Christmas Tree again this year! Hope you and yours have a super Christmas! x
ReplyDeleteI can understand why Mollie Makes wouldn't appeal to you. It is more for 'following pattern' creations, your work is from your own inspiration (and beautiful it is too).
ReplyDeleteYour shop is looking gorgeous as usual, the twiggy tree is so simple, so appealling.
Carol xx
I'm with you about Mollie Makes...just not my style I guess. Your window and store look lovely. I would love to visit it...maybe some day:)
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas displays. I was disappointed with Molly Makes. I cheated, I 'read' it in Sainsburys then put it back:)
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh it's so stunning especially the little painting, what a treasure, as for the magazine, not for me...but thanks for the offer, you're so kind, love your blog
