  1. More lovely finds, is the Daffodil picture a Vernon Ward? Looks like it could be, I have several of his.
I did some gardening yesterday, today I'm feeling quite 'pooped'.

  2. Hi Carol,
Thank you for your comment on my blog. The daffodil picture is actually an original oil painting (by Vera Little)

  3. Your bowl and pitcher are beautiful, and all your framed art is fabulous. What great additions to your shop I'm sure they will all be.

  4. That was a short pause ;-)
Good idea to start that trial about opening hours. Beautiful finds, I love the three pots and the egg cup is so cute. Once you have time please give me clue what this light blue item might be? Good luck at Chipping Sodbury!

  5. It's your first photo that really catches my eye! I have similar red plates and a less detailed but similar tablecloth - I never thought of putting them together but now I shall! I hope your busy week is going well and that your new opening hours work well for you.

  6. Hi Anke (yes, a very short pause!
;-)) Daughter has started her school play run this evening, so its all systems go now...

Thank you for your comment on my blog and for your interest in the pale blue item...It is actually a vintage hot water bottle for warming the bed! The top has a screw-on cap with rubber seal for filling with boiling water. If you 'google' stoneware hot water bottle, you will find lots of images of them. This is a rare blue one, as they are usually the plain stoneware colour, or have a little brown glaze to them...I believe that lilac is a rare colour too. More of a collectable than functional these days, but great as a door stop too! ;-))

    Hope that helps!

I would love to get looses in there but sadly I'm 12000 km away in New Zealand!
