Whilst I'm here, I thought I'd quickly share a simple project that I've just completed. I was inspired by an item in this book...
I love the interiors featured in it, particularly in the chapter entitled Nostalgia - There's a surprise!
It was the little stack of vintage boxes piled on a bedside table that caught my eye.
So, taking the two old round boxes that I bought a few weeks ago, I set about making something similar to those in the book.

I used some lovely antique fabrics and luckily had some of the gathered braid in my stash...
A few daubs of glue later...
And they were done!
