There is very little view from my windows this morning, due to a thick fog lurking outside. I thought I would gather together my Anemone inspired goodies, to create a cheerful image to lift the spirits.
The colours of these amazing flowers are so vibrant and the centres of them look like little fuzzy creatures!

I'm full of cold and feeling a bit sorry for myself but these gorgeous anemones have really cheered me up.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Niki! You create the best still-life compositions! You have beautiful treasures, too. The tin very much reminds me of an oil painting of a bowl of anemones my mom painted when I was little. She has it hanging in my parents' living room.
ReplyDeleteOh my...these are such lovely images!!!
ReplyDeleteYou brought such lovelyness here
Chamara
Mere words cannot describe my thoughts.....a cheerful sight to behold.
ReplyDeleteI just posted a pair of vintage valances on ebay and they are quite charming.
Thanks for all of your "easy on the eyes" posts
I've just come back from the garden centre having resisted the temptation to purchase a bunch of very realistic looking silk anenomes and what do I see?
ReplyDeleteWe have fog across the pond today as well. It looks like pea soup out there, You have such pretty anemones to brighten your Stone House. So bright and cheery.
ReplyDeleteI sat stunned last night...that little rose print WAS on ebay for about 5 minutes....AND I had just purchased it yesterday at about three in the afternoon....WOW must be alot of rose lover girlie girls out there....they all love "buy me now", I'm discovering.
ReplyDeleteNiki,
ReplyDeleteNice pictures as always. I hope to get to the thrift store tomorrow. Seems I go into rapid withdrawel after only a few days.
Been looking at your site to see if you have anything new!!!!
NANCY JO

ReplyDeleteHi Niki, What can I say?! Beautiful, beautiful, and even more beautiful! Such lovely colours and charming things, anemones are a true wonder of nature! Thank you for sharing these gorgeous things! Clare x
ReplyDeleteHi Niki
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about anemones that make us all love them so much? They've always been my favourite flower and when we lived in Northampton all those years ago Mum would buy me the first bunch of the season every year. I missed it when we moved away. But now she's moved to be near us ... !!!!
Sue xx
What lovely bold colours these are.
ReplyDeleteYou have put these together beautifully as always.
If I may paraphrase an old saying...
'with anenomes like these...who needs friends'
..LOL
Stunningly beautiful! I love the colors...so cheery and mindful of spring (which I hope will come sooner rather than later!)

ReplyDeleteThese gorgeous photos truly lift my spirits! I especially love the vintage tin with the bowl of Anemones; gorgeous. Anemones remind me a little of Poppies, which I adore.
