and the professionals with all their kit!
The armfuls of blooms were arranged and placed around our home, with others picked from the garden...
I'll let you know if/when the photos appear in a magazine - probably sometime next year - Hopefully with them not highlighting my shoddy housewifery!

Some for the kitchen...
even the bathroom and laundry room received the floral treatment!
Our home was tweaked and faffed, with photos being taken with expert care and attention. I enjoyed being involved in the process - except when it came to having my own photo taken - I could have done without that...think they should have bought in a glamorous model at that point! ;-)) - some of my collections had to be toned down a bit, with items being removed from shot...oooops...is that dust under there! How embarrassing! ;-))

I have every faith in this capable duo, who worked hard to produce a wonderful set of photographs.
Ooooooh I thought as much!!!! So glad the sun shone for you Niki, can't wait to read all about it. I'm sure all the photos looked fab, especially the ones with you in. What a wonderful feature it will make (dust and all)

Looks exciting. Your house is so gorgeous it definitely deserves to be in a magazine and I look forward to reading about it. I've just been approached by a journalist to do mine but I've put it off until next year as I feel our house is not up to scratch yet! Definitely doesn't compare to yours!
ReplyDeletecongratulations! Im sure everything looked perfect! is that a magazine that we get in the states? probably not huh? let us know when it comes out!
ReplyDeletehow exciting Niki...i hear you on the dust issue...that's the one thing that is so hard about having lots of "things" out...the dust is hard to tackle and it takes forever to clean...
ReplyDeleteOh, you must have been so excited, did you have butterflies in your tummy? I know I would have had, along with nervous ( and very annoying ) giggles. You have such a gorgeous home, it must have been an absolute pleasure for them to photograph it. I hope the article comes out real soon.
ReplyDeleteOoooh! That looks exciting and interesting. Lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteHello Niki
ReplyDeleteI wondered if that is what you meant when you said important visitors!
Your house is the perfect one to feature in a magazine! It is beautiful and very different too. Ooh I can't wait to see the article. The vases full of flowers look lovely. My garden flowers didn't do so well this year, not enough sun and too many slugs! Poor dalhias, nothing them of them...What can I expect when I don't like killing slugs!
Photo shoot over, hopefully you can relax a bit now.
Take care
