Off to the Fair...

I have a day of packing ahead of me today. As some of you know, I have a tiny car in which to pack all of my stock into, to take to the Antiques and Collectors fair. In order to utilize every spare inch, I take my time packing it like a Chinese puzzle. Oh I do have fun unpacking it all at the other end!!
I have been busy sewing, making bags and lampshades from Vintage fabrics.....

If you live any where near Shepton Mallet in Somerset (UK), then it would be lovely to see you!! The September Fair is the largest one of the year, with extra outside pitches. It is on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th. www.dmgantiquesfairs.com (Trade day Fri 22nd)

Oh well, I can't put it off any longer...time to sort stock and then the packing can begin!!

Oh I wish I did live near Shepton Mallet. I would definitely be there. You have some gorgeous things. More lovely lampshades! I love the one hidden at the back with the red roses on the white background. So pretty. Hope the weekend goes well and you sell lots. Enjoy the packing! x

  4. I don't think any of these lovelies will be packed back into your tiny car for the trip home. You will be sold out.!Having said that I hope you have more will power than me, because I would be buying up everyone elses lovelies, and perhaps your little car will be full again for the trip home?

  8. I finished my packing about 6pm. This has been a fun one - enamel (red items included) doesn't bend or squash like the eiderdowns and linen so it's been an experience!! Why do you and I have such small cars? (but aren't we amazing when you see how full our stands are! Who needs a Volvo?!!) I hope I get to see some of the lampshades before you sell out. They really look fantastic. See you tomorrow! I'm off to bed now ready for the marathon!! Sue
