I'm not really an Autumn person, all those dark nights rushing in, but I do love the changing colours. Late Winter and Spring, now they are my seasons, everything starting to come back to life. Beautiful photos, I could just eat a slice of that cake! Thank you. Carol xx
Ooh, Niki, I was going through your photos and thinking 'snap!', until I got to the cake, and I realised that I'd like to match you on that one, too! Lovely photos and it doesn't seem so bad to say goodbye to summer when autumn is so beautiful (and yummy), does it?
I love Autumn - the colours changing, the crisp leaves, the darker nights and the sense of everything beginning to hibernate and prepare for winter! I loved the candle in the cup.. just what you need, glowing away in the lamplight!
I love your pictures, especially the quilts folded on top of the armoire, the rose napkins on the tea table, and the grapes. Gorgeous! It rained here tonight and I had hot chocolate--a first of the season.
I love these photos of the autumn, and your quilts look beautiful such fabulous colours. Fire looks like it is ready to go! but maybe not quite yet. Jill x
You are right - the nights are getting longer, and it will soon be time to light the fire in the evening. Those quilts look gorgeous - I'd love to get my hands on those (and the cake, come to mention it!!!!)
Love autumn, the changing colours and then the falling leaves. Fires and candles lit and snuggling in. Love your pretty quilts, still trying to find some time to pop (well not pop, makes it sound as if I live close by) back to your shop for another visit. Julie x
I can't tell you how jealous I am. Here in Virginia (US), we are having a 90 degree day. Ugh. The weather people promise cooler temps from now on & I can't wait to get to where you are right now. Your photos of autumn are so inspiring!
Its sad to say goodbye to Summer, but I do love Autumn.
ReplyDeleteAlready started snuggling here. The new thick winter duvet went on the bed today. Lovely pics. xxx
ReplyDeleteA nice crisp autumn breeze here today, too. And when I went to the beach there were NO swimmers... a sure sign of autumn. lol

ReplyDeleteI love autumn - the thought of winter evenings around the fire, hot soup, thick sweaters and .... Christmas just around the corner!
