At the moment I am working on a new collection of boudoir ladies...
This is one of my flapper girl hat stands, made from authentic materials so as to resemble an original 30's example. She has a beautiful silk embroidered ribbon and velvet hat with marabou feather trim and a real vintage silver mink collar.
I used a hand painted candlestick as the base.

Another one has a lovely moulded face, velvet cloche hat with amazing feather hat trim and dyed ostrich feather boa.
I then worked on some new 30's style powder puffs.
These are much larger than my usual puffs at approx 20cm diameter.
One is silver grey...
and another dusky rose.
Both made from vintage velvets and trims.
I'm working on several more pieces today, with a variety of doll faces I've collected over the last few months.
Wishing you a happy weekend,
Niki x
Update: I've been able to complete two more creations today...
A little red hat stand with an awesome Chinese embroidered silk cloche and marabou feather boa.

And another powder puff - a bit smaller than the previous ones and with a lovely velvet flower hat trim.
Lots more faces in my supplies to play with another day...
