In the Pink!

It was brought to my attention by a lovely 'internet-buddy'; thank you Jackie! - That I've had a mention in a recent interior's magazine. Jackie very kindly sent me her copy, as she knew I hadn't seen it.
The January 2011 edition of Good Homes magazine had featured the delightful home of Sophie Perks Ward...
And at the end of the article, they had recommended my little shop as a 'Hot Shopping' destination! ;-)) I was so surprised, as I really knew nothing about it...So nice to have a bit of free advertising, I can tell you!
**
My shop will be 1 year old next Friday (21st), so I am trying to come up with a way to celebrate with any customers who may be around then...

I think it will take the form of a simple tea and cakes...

Served on vintage china of course! ;-))
So if you happen to be in the area and fancy a cuppa...
(1950's glamour in the shop at the moment!)

Thanks for the mention by No.21!

Oh, I wish I could have a visit at your shop. All those nice things!
In Germany I contacted with all bus touristic shops, but no one will take the tour over Shepton Mallet. They only choose Bath and then they go south. Bus tourists are always in a hurry, so I would not have the chance of a visit.
So there is nothing else to do as to visit this blog and I come every day.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland von

  13. Niki - that's wonderful! You have worked so hard, you definitely deserve the perk!

I'm in California or I would be there to celebrate. Maybe someday I'll get back to England.

    Cheers!
