Birthday Treats and Beautiful Blooms


Yesterday our kitchen was turned upside down whilst our youngest made a Birthday cake for two of her school friends!

So whilst all that was going on, I escaped into my garden to record a few of the flowers that are now enjoying the hot spell of weather.

    I was upset today when I found vine weevils had eaten most of the roots of one of my auriculas. Hopefully I have saved it, the little so and sos.
