Busy, Busy, Busy.....

I found this little set of drawers the other day, just ripe for a make-over! Using vintage wallpaper, they now look like this....
I stuck vintage buttons to the knobs, for added interest.
(If you would like a tutorial, I made some similar covered drawers a few months ago; please click here.)
I added some vintage Lilac flowers to one of my handmade lacy lampshades.
And another quick make-over was to glue the Victorian scraps that I bought last Sunday at the Flea Market, to my very chippy painted cupboard.
Before:

And after:

I may add more roses, but not sure?...

  2. Niki,
How cute your new things came out. I like the roses on the little chest. And the little wallpapered drawers came out so cute.
Always get excited when I see you have a new post to look at. Also check your site everyday to make sure there isn't something that I just must buy. I love the little powder puff set you sent, too cute.

  4. The roses on the cupboard look gorgeous Niki. I think you should leave it at that. Any more and it might look too much. The little set of drawers is really cute too. Where do you find the vintage wallpaper?

  7. Hi Niki, you have been busy haven't you?! Should you add more roses..? My first response is to ask 'can you have too many roses?!' But these beautiful red roses are very striking! I have some lovely decals somewhere so I should really look them out and make good use of them! Clare x

  11. Hi Niki,

Just wanted to say that you do cover drawers well. I always seem to get air bubbles or some other problem.

I think I should embark on some creative job tomorrow. You always inspire.
    Best wishes Ginny

  21. The Victorian scraps look great on the cupboard, I don't think you need to add any more. Maybe to the top? A little one in each corner?
