Panda Pal

I recently found some good usable lengths of this adorable vintage fabric to work with - It is an old nursery print by Sanderson and features a little boy getting up to various antics with his Panda friend.

Its a lovely crisp cotton, despite its age, and has been a pleasure to use. So far I have made two squishy cushions...
A tote bag with shoulder length straps (lined inside with the same fabric)...

And a little hand bag!

The two bags fasten with c1930's painted wooden buttons.

My thanks to Clare for her recent post about my shop and a purchase that she made.
Have a lovely weekend,
Niki x

  6. Oh I just love the panda bag - Pandas are my favourite - as is blue! Is it in your blog shop or in your 'real' shop?

  7. What gorgeous bags! We love "Panderson" as it's known in our house. My daughter has the cream version in her room. Such bizarre images and funny looking little boy. Love reading your blog and just trying to get into it myself. Best wishes Ellie
