That was the Week That Was...

Last week was a bit of a blur...
My youngest had another Birthday...

17 today!

She had to perform in her school's cabaret for three evenings (including her Birthday).
Her main piece was singing a duet...

A song from 'Oh What a Lovely War', which she will be performing in proper, early next year.

*
I've had a busy week in the shop with the run-up to Christmas...

So I've been regularly changing the displays...
and bringing in more stock as items have sold.
!!!
**
We had snow...
Our first snow in November for 17 years, I believe.

**
It's been hanging around for quite a while now...
**
I had handmade items to get on with last week too...

I managed to make three of my medium sized rag dolls.
This is Isla in her recycled Fair Isle sweater.
*
Saturday evening was party time for our daughter...

It was fancy dress with an under-the-sea theme.
*
And then an early start yesterday...It was time to be off to Chipping Sodbury for the Vintage & Handmade Fair.

It was a busy fair and great to meet up with lots of friends again...

My thanks to all who stopped by to say hello and who made a purchase or two. x
*

I bought some beautiful supplies from Sue...

A gorgeous one-of-a-kind necklace from the very talented Viv...

And I bought several pieces from Louise Taylor-Bowen, but can't show those on my blog, as they are to be Christmas pressies...and you never know who might be peeking! ;-))
Tomorrow is 'D-day' for my hubby...Thanks for all your well wishes, he appreciates your kindness.
Have a great week,
Niki x

  1. Lots of eye candy again, Niki. Thanks for that. Glad to read the shop has been busy.
I'm off to see Oh What A Lovely War tomorrow evening at my son's school, so it must be a popular show for the schools this year. xx

  6. I was at the Fair on Saturday but I didn't realise you were you, if you know what I mean. I would have loved to have said hello, though I remember your stall of lovely things. It was a great day. Helen x
