I arrived at my shop as usual on Thursday morning this week - After only being open for a couple of minutes, the owner of the Antiques Centre in Shepton Mallet called-by with a beautiful book under her arm. She handed it to me and told me it had been left for me by a lady who had visited the town when my shop was closed... I was VERY surprised. Inside the book was a little hand written message, explaining who it was from. I believe I have met the kind lady before - I think it was back in 2010 when the BBC were filming in the town. So Anna, from Southampton, (I hope I have the right lady!) I can't thank you enough for such a generous gift...I had no idea how else to thank you, so I hope you will read this and know how much I appreciate this beautiful book...and I'll wonder how you were able to part with it! I will share a few of the lovely illustrations with you now... |
