Rocking Around the Christmas Tree...

Its finally starting to feel a lot like Christmas around here...

Gifts are wrapped and await delivery...

My glitter village has found its place back on the sunny windowsill where the light catches its glistening rooftops.

**

A collection of Santa's to greet the real one as he emerges out of our chimney!

Touches of twinkle.

**

And angels gather.

**

along with other favourite old friends.

**

**

But most importantly, the tree has been trimmed...
**
The usual crowd of country characters are here...

**
**
**
"Hello!"

**

**
There was nowhere else for the wardrobe to go for now, so I've worked with it and added lengths of ivy to the top.
As well as some on our light fitting.
**
**
**
AND we've had a smattering of snow here in the SW overnight - the prefect finishing touch!

I'm off out to lunch today with two lovely friends - hope you have a great day,
Niki x
Update 6pm: I've just returned home to a large amount of comments from a person in China - when translated, they are obviously spam and are not of a nice content...has anyone else had this problem and do you know a way of filtering such comments? I don't think switching off anonymous comments will help, as this person has a Blogger profile, but it doesn't lead to a blog. Very annoying, as I've had to spend 20 minutes deleting them all - any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks, Niki x

It feels so Christmassy, you've captured the essence of Christmas!

  14. So lovely, Niki! Your tree is beautiful. And I do love that wardrobe! The snow looks very fextive! We also had some snow; we actually had a blizzard which dumped almost 2 feet of snow throughout much of the northeast. School is out for the day and I'm finding less and less time to wrap with no peeking eyes! lol

  19. Hello Niki
Firstly, your house looks very pretty and full of festive fun! I love the little glittery village...
As for the comments from China: I've had one of these today and had one a few weeks back. Luckily my comments do not go straight onto the blog but have to be 'approved' by me, so I just delete these spam ones. Of course I haven't attempted to translate them! But as I can't read them, they just go in the bin.
Can you switch your comments over to 'blog owner approval' ?

Also, I love your little village. I hope that 2010 is wonderful for you. I'm looking forward to hearing about the progress on your shop.
