| I thought I'd just stop-by to show some of the items I've been busy making, which will come with me to the fair... |
| |
| This is Holly. She is an angel decoration dressed in an antique baby gown... And is ready to spread some seasonal cheer.
 |
| |
| Two of my medium sized rag dolls hot off the sewing machine... Here we have Nancy.
 |
| |
| And this is Emily. |
| |
| A flapper girl hat stand for the dressing table. |
| |
| Made from all vintage/antique materials and trims. |
I've beavered away making quite a large collection of fairy dolls. Each one is unique - dressed in antique fabrics, lace and other special little trims. I'm very happy with this latest collection (if I may say?) - And am always surprised how a few treasured pieces of lace and special trims can create so many different looks to these girls. I like to name my dolls (giving them each their own name tag)...which can sometimes take me a while...This time I decided to name each fairy after a sweet or pudding!...Not quite sure why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time! ;-))

| There's plenty of stocking filler ideas too. (Some can be seen here on my other blog.) This antique lace panel was just right for making into a lavender-filled sleep pillow.
 |
| |
| A handbag made from antique linen. |
| |
| The powder puffs that I have shown on my blog before. |
And Christmas tree decorations made from rusty antique keys.
I'll take some original vintage items too...
| |
| Such as these pretty framed prints... |
| |
| An Edwardian hand embroidered parasol cover, which I thought would make a fabulous Christmas tree skirt... |
| |
| And an original pair of flapper dance shoes by Peter Yapp of Sloan Street, London. |
"Hope to see you there!"
(My shop will be closed whilst I attend the fair - Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.)
Have a great weekend,
Niki x
