A Look Back at 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR! - May 2012 be all that you hope for.
As is usual for me on my blog, (here is the one I posted last year) I have recorded some of the events of 2011 in this 'look-back' post...These take a while to put together, so I hope you will enjoy it...
JANUARY
Having room to breath, seems to be important every year, at this time.

My shop was 1 year old last January.

FEBRUARY
Sadly, the month my lovely Nan passed away.

Weaving a tale.

MARCH
Floral inspiration.

A typical week of buying, crafting and shop.

APRIL
A tour of my workroom.

Decorating, gardening and my shop were this months priorities.

MAY
A fantastic day at the Vintage Bazaar, Frome.

A Birthday treat to Stratford upon Avon.

JUNE
An 'average' week in summer.

My most photo-rich post ever, when my blog became 5 years old.

JULY
I became a Grandmother.

A fantastic visit to Trevoole Farm.

AUGUST
Family holiday to Fowey, Cornwall.

A story of my past.

Salvaging treasures.

SEPTEMBER
A welcome break in Tenby, Wales.

Feeding my passion for vintage/antique fabrics.

OCTOBER
Always shopping and making!

I labour of love - A pair of patchwork curtains that I created for our living room. (They may find themselves somewhere else though, in 2012...watch this space! ;-))

NOVEMBER
Hubby and I spent a lovely day down in Dorset, at Dairy House and Shaftesbury.

I made a change to our kitchen.

DECEMBER
A collection of angels for the Vintage & Handmade Fair.

And a family Christmas was enjoyed at The Stone House.

I'm looking forward to another year in my shop, meeting like-minded people and spending my days sewing and creating. I have also booked several fairs again this year and enjoy the challenge of crafting for these as well. I hope you will enjoy joining me at my blog from time to time throughout the year...And I thank you for your interest and for the time that you have spent with me here in the past.
My warmest wishes to you - Lets hope its a good year for all!
Niki xx
