Dolly Update.

I have been working on the old doll that I bought the other day at a local junk shop. I didn't want to discard the tatty muslin dress that she was wearing, as I think this is original to her. So I decided to work with it and add some antique lace that I had been hoarding.

I also stitched some vintage forget-me-not flowers and some velvet ribbons onto the dress. She has a cream silk petticoat underneath, too!

I hope she approves- she still has the cheeky look on her face!

  1. Looks like we have just posted at the same time Niki! I wasn't even finished with my post about your wonderful swap parcel when I already found your answer! I'm glad you liked my photos! :D

The doll must be very happy to have such an enchanting and beautiful new dress! The silk cut petticoat looks to die for! You are so talented!
